About

Our Story

Most Quarter Horses prioritize sound minds and strong confirmation. Lance values ability over color—first proving a horse on the ranch, then in the arena. He believes it all starts with the mare, culling hundreds to find the perfect crosses. If a mare can’t handle ranch work, she’s out. Most Quarter Horses know only long days and wet saddle blankets.

Lance personally handles each foal—halter breaking, tying, and picking up feet—before branding and turning them out to grow. At two, they’re started on the ranch, developing into sound, correct horses. He believes softness starts early, beginning with a baby lowering its head to be haltered.

A lifelong rancher and horseman, Lance now looks to his new stallion, High Rolling Royalty (“Platinum”), to carry on the legacy left by Gatlin. With big hooves to fill, Platinum is proving himself, passing on the same great traits to his colts.

2025 ONLINE Sale

For years, we’ve enjoyed the energy and excitement of our live sales, bringing buyers together to see our horses in person, experience their abilities firsthand, and connect with fellow horsemen. However, as we continue to grow and evolve, we’ve made the decision to move our sale completely online this year.

We remain committed to honest representation and high-quality horses. Each horse will have extensive photos, videos, and descriptions to help you make an informed decision. As always, we welcome calls, questions, and in-person visits to the ranch if you’d like to see a horse before the sale.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to making this year’s sale a great success—just in a new and improved way! Stay tuned for more details on sale dates and how to register to bid.

Stallion

Ability > Color

These horses have, or come from, proven ability first on the ranch then the arena. Lance does not let color influence his program one bit. Being conformationally correct to hold up to work is a much higher priority when building his program.
